Here we are in front of the Angel Moroni laying on the trailer they drove him in on.
Angel Moroni up close. They allowed the artist that made this Angel Moroni go up in the lift to help place it. I guess he is quite afraid of heights but decided he really wanted to go up.
Here is the temple without the angel. They had just lifted the steeple on an hour or so before Angel Moroni. I was surprised at how early in the construction process they put the angel on - I would have thought it would be the finishing touch. I guess it's quite a process grounding the angel to protect it from lightning.
The kids as they begin to lift the angel up.
On his way up.
Everyone clapped and yelled once they got the angel in place. We can't wait until our temple is done.

That is so cool! I am so glad you are involving your kids in this process. The older ones will love your temple more. We didn't know ours was up until the newspaper carried the story.
Hi guys -- Lynne & Tony here...Where is the Oquirrh temple? Somewhere out towards Tooele? It's been so long since we've lived out there that are memories are failing us! Where's the new temple going that you mentioned you're waiting for?
