We had a wonderful Christmas. It was so nice to have Harmon's parents here with us. It turned out to be a very busy day...
Jack was so happy with his gifts. Now if there just wasn't any snow outside so he could ride this bad boy.
All Kate wanted was a baby stroller. She was in heaven when she got a stroller and her own grocery cart. She manages to push both of them all around the house. What was Santa thinking?
Kate had the dress ups on for the rest of the day.
Lacey loved the luggage Santa left for her. Little did she know, she would be using it sooner than later.
Halle was thrilled with her new scooter.
Halle is my little cook. She loves to help me in the kitchen. She got this cute apron and her first recipe book.
Dress ups with mittens and hat...
Kate loved her polka dot blanket. My kids are all about the soft.
Jack had caught me working on this blanket in December. I told him it was for a little boy that needed a soft blanket. He kept saying that he wanted a blanket like that for Christmas. He was so excited that he was that little boy.
I finally let Lacey read New Moon. I'm sure it will be a few more years until she can read the next one.
After we were done opening all of the presents, Harmon had an announcement to make. He told the kids we needed to clean up because we had a lot to do to get ready to go to California the next day. We had arranged to stay at our friend's home in Laguna through New Years. With having the Christmas Eve party at our house, I couldn't really think about it until Christmas Day. Somehow we managed to pull it off. We were packed and ready to go early the next day. It was so fun to surprise our kids with the trip. Merry Christmas!
