So, it was out turn to host the Tobler Family Christmas Eve Party. It only comes around every five years. We had a great time.
We were so lucky to be able to have Grandma and Papa T. in town this year.
Kate with her Aunt Polly. They love each other.
One thing you can count on at any Tobler get together is LOTS of good food. This year was no exception.
Shannon and Janey.
Kate and Hanna.
Trevor entertaining the kids at the kid's table.
Jack showing his muscles.
Halle and Uncle Rick. He is always so good to Halle.
Laurie and Garret. Garret was so relieved when he heard that Santa couldn't make the party this year. Santa is not his favorite.
Each year we have a talent portion of our party. Jack busted out his reindeer hat and recited and sang every Christmas thing he has learned in preschool (which is a lot). We finally had to give him the hook because he couldn't get enough of the attention. That kid is something else!
Halle played a couple of songs for us.
There's something to be said about being one of the youngest cousins - here's Trevor playing with Jack.
Christmas Eve wouldn't be complete without a little nativity. Trevor's "robe" was a classic this year.
The cousins always exchange gifts. Here Addie had just given Kate a set of Cabbage Patch twin premies. Kate's squeel as she opened her gift was classic. She couldn't be happier.
The eleven year olds. They are so lucky to have so many cousins the same age. They are great friends.
Matching jammies - Santa is amazing.
Janey and Kate loved that they were matching too.
The Tobler kids are tired and ready to go to bed - they can't wait until the morning. I think this year we told them they could get up at 7:00 a.m.
Jack crawled up in his bed and tucked himself in - Santa hat and all. I walked in to discover him like this. It made my night. I love that kid.
